My daughter has always been a horrible car seat rider. She hated even getting put into it for 5 minutes, and it didn’t matter how fast we went, how loud we turned up the music/white noise, or what we did to try to make the trip better…it didn’t work.
I had gotten one of those flimsy baby “head support systems” at my baby shower (the kind that looks like an upside down ‘u’ and has a thin cloth lining) and we were using that in her car seat when I was recommended SnugZee’s by a trusted friend.
SnugZee’s have made my life SO much better. The head support system is great for all ages. When you have a newborn it helps to keep their head from falling forward (a suffocation risk!) and as they age it keeps their head from flopping left to right. I feel more secure knowing that if I get into an accident, the soft, plushy pillows will prevent her head from being whacked around the hard car seat; which is something that the u-shaped “head support systems” would not be able to do.
I have bought many of these for baby showers and plan on investing in another one for our second car seat!

The U-shaped (or C-shaped) pillows currently available on the market work against supporting baby’s head by pushing it forward and down. SnugZee works to stabilize baby’s head by providing adequate support on each side.Side pillow support cushions can be easily removed so harness strap pads can be used alone to prevent digging and chafing into baby’s delicate skin.
